St., died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Aaron Shaw, the Rev. J. F. Nix and Dr. Earl Allen will officiate. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Charles Baker, Lawrence May, Jerold May, Bob Meador, Billy Crooks and Earl Cummings. Mrs. Shaw was born in Hamilton County on June 27, 1897. She moved to Wilson in 1901, and had been a resident of Lubbock for three years. She taught school in Wilson, Post, Slaton and Levelland. Her husband is field representative for the Texas Baptist Children's Home. Survivors include the husband; one step-son, Kenneth with the U.S. Army at Fort Belvoride, Va.; one sister, Mrs. B. W. Baker, 4403 W. 18th St.; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. May, 3311 24th St. Additional Comments: Clara was the daughter of Walter Hedrick MAY & Berilla Catherine "Kate" BROWN.
