John Almand

John Henry Almand, 72, of Stanton, died Friday, March 26 in Stanton. Services
will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 29, at Evergreen Cemetery with Leroy
Linney and Rick Benton officiating.

He was born Feb. 20, 1932 in Haskell and was an electrician. He was preceded
in death by two brothers.

He is survived by two sons, Delwyn Almand of Stanton and Darwin Almand of
Midland; five sisters, Dorothy Driver of Odessa, Pauline Jones of Abilene,
Mary Mutti of Sugarland, Anita Johnson of San Antonio and Gladys Sylvester of
San Jose, Calif. and four brothers, Claude Almand of Burleson, Lonnie Kreger
of Midland, Arnold Almand of Hurst and A.J. Almand of Conroe.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stanton Memorial Funeral Home &
Chapel.
