Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. He was born Dec. 9, 1922 in Nordheim and married Silveria Bryand Jan. 27, 1942 in Nordheim. He was a rancher and cotton farmer and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Gloria Perez of Abilene and Ninfa Riley of Miama, Fla.; three sons, Paul Bryand Jr., of Stanton, Noel Bryand of Stanwood, Wash., and Joe Bryand of Midland; one sister, Frances Del Torro of Muleshoe; four brothers, Mariano Bryand of Gendale, Ariz., Eugenio Bryand of Clovis, N.M., Filomon Bryand of Karnes City and Marcos Bryand of California; 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
