LUJUANA SUE BYRD

Midland Reporter Telegram Thursday Aug 26, 1999 Stanton--Lujuana Sue Byrd 63
died Tues Aug 24 in a Midland Hospital. Services are to be 3 pm Friday Aug 27
in the Frist Baptist church of Stanton with the Rev David Harp officiating.
Burial is to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland under direction of
Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton.

She was born July 11, 1936 in Floydada. She moved from Mildand to Stanton in
1961. She served as secretary and was a member of the Frist Baptist Church for
years.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Byrd of Statnon; two sons, Ernest Byrd
of Johnson City and Lee Byrd of New Braunfels; a daughter Diane Byrd of
Stanton; her mother, Elizabeth Newton of Lubbock; two sisters, Dorothy
Cummings of Branson, Mo and JoAnn Linch of Lubbock and six granchildren.
