Funeral rites for Mrs. Mamie Cozart 65 of Ackerly were held Monday at the
Ackerly Methodist Church.

Mrs Cozart who was born August 8 1896 in Oklahoma, died Saturday afternoon.
She was married June 27 19147 in Eastland County to R.E Cozart. They moved to
Ackerly in 1942. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include the husband; three sons, R.Z Cozart of Big Spring, Charnell
Cozart of Sunray, Otho Cozart of Dublin; six daughters, Mrs Viola Burns of
Tulia, Mrs Ruth Owens of Austin, Mrs Katherine Browning of Jacksonville Fla,
Mrs Bertha Hustus of Andrews, Mrs Imogene Johnson of Lamesa, Mrs Helen Vaughn
of Big Spring; 24 grandchidlren adn three great grandchildren; on brother Zed
Erwin of Lubbock, four half brothers, Bruce Erwin of Brownwood, Gerald Erwin,
Darrell Erwin, Worthes Erwin, all of Rising Star, one half sister, Mrs Mable
Ford of Rising Star.
