Samuel D. Flanagin Passes Away Here

Samuel Davis [sic] Flanagin, 86, a retired rancher from Fredonia, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the home 
of his daughter, Mrs. B.F. Porter and Mr. Porter, at Comfort, where he had been making his home for 
some time.  Funeral rites were held at the Church of Christ at Fredonia Thursday afternoon and interment 
was at that city.  In addition to the daughter, he leaves five sons, a brother, fifteen grandchildren 
and eighteen great-grandchildren.  The News is joined by the family's friends in extending sympathy to 
Mrs. Porter.
