In recent years vandals have wreaked havoc on this cemetery and only a few stones remain. The Rejcek's provided what information they had and we took photographs of the area. There are several stones that appear to be where burials were, but no names are indicated on these, they could be slaves. It is also possible that other family members are buried here as the property owners recall there being several more stones. It has been reported as the Old Green Cemetery, but this is not believed to be accurate, as Prairie Grove Cemetery (just up FM 933) is formerly Old Gruene Cemetery. Members of the family buried here had land of both the McLennan and Hill County sides of this farm. The old Sulak Cotton Gin was just down the street, but no known members of the Sulak family are buried on this farm. Known Burials: PREWITT, Mary Ann 04/27/1839 - 10/12/1900 PREWITT, S.H. 10/24/1836 - 03/30/1893 (Mary and S.H. were married) PREWITT, James W. 04/05/1875 - 07/10/1876 PREWITT, Wilder 12/28/1872 - 08/23/1877 (note, this stone is still in tact) PREWITT, Nancy 10/28/1802 - 09/21/1870 REED, Frances 10/10/1855 - 01/13/1871 PREWITT, W.P.
