Kirkland, David, d. 18 Oct. 1889, age 74 ( In 1850 Grimes County census,
it shows him with wife, Mary, but her name was really Mariel. In land
deeds her name is spelled as Mariel. It list children Thomas, Moses,
Nancy, and Joseph W. Kirkland. David Kirkland parents were Benjamin and
Elizabeth Kirkland. Benjamin was born in S.C., and died in Walker County,
Texas.)

Kirkland, Mary Ann - b. 14 Oct. 1821, d. Aft. 1900 (She married David
Kirkland 22 May 1859, in Grimes County, Texas. Daughter of Hiram and
Harriet Camp Coody. Had children: Mary Eugene Kirkland, married William
McKenzie Martin; and David Hiram Kirkland, married a Fannie J.)

Martin, William McKenzie - b. 18 April 1854, d. 21 Feb. 1924 (He was the
son William and Sarah Martin)

Martin, Mary Eugenia- b. 5 Sept. 1860, d. May 1859, w/o Willliam McKenzie
Martin. (Daughter of David and Mary Ann Coody Kirkland)

William McKenzie and Mary Eugenia Martin)
