   The Day
   Saturday July 16, 1887
   Maj.  John  Blevins,  father  of  Mrs.  Col.  J.R. Pace, is in a dying
   condition  at Galbrath Springs, Tenn., age 69. Has a wife, 2 sons, and
   6 daughters. Mrs. Pace is the eldest daughter.
