   The Day
   Monday July 18, 1887
   John Talley was killed Saturday by Conyers Jackson, a negro.
   The  remains  of  Mr.  John Talley were buried at Odd Fellows Cemetery
   yesterday,  Rev. Horace Bishop officiating. A search is being made for
   Jackson. Bullet hole in his head.
   The Day
   Tuesday July 19, 1887
   Conyers  Jackson,  who killed John Talley Saturday last, was captured,
   apparently near Fairfield.
