Funeral Service for Weldon Douglas Harris, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Harris, 800 South Third street, who died in a local sanitarium at 3:30 p. m. Thursday, were held Friday at 3 p. m. at the home, Rev. A. Reilly Copeland officiating. Burial was in Bosqueville cemetery,Clark's in charge. The parents survive. MAXEY, J. D. Funeral services for J. D. Maxey, 72 year-old resident of Lorena, who died at his home Thursday at 6:15 a.m., were held at Lorena Baptist Church at 3:30 p.m., Rev. C. D. Daniel, pastor, officiating, Burial was in Lorena cemetery. WACO NEWS TRIBUNE SEPTEMBER 2, 1934 SUNDAY M' WILLIAMS JESSE W. Funeral services for Jesses W. McWilliams,66, who died at 8 a. m. Saturday at the old McWilliams home, 1600 Clay Avenue, will be held at 5 p. m. Sunday at Clark's funeral home. Rev. W. W. Melton officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Waco lodge 92, A. F. and A. M., of which he was a member in charge at the grave. He died while on his annual visit form his home to New Orleans. Surviving is a brother, C. M. Mc Williams, Houston Lawyer. Mr. McWilliams was the last 40 years connected with a New Orleans lumber company. He was a member of Waco chapter 45, Hella temple of Dallas, and of Waco commandery 10. Pallbearers will be W. W. Cameron, E. P. Hunter, Jack Reynolds, W. T. Clark, W. F. Quebe, T. M. Gribble, E. P. Baldwin, Paul Darwin. MANER, OSCAR Oscar Maner,51, of Fort Worth, died at 4:30 p. m. Saturday in Forth Worth Sanitarium. Mr. Maner, a former resident of Waco, had been living in Forth Worth for the last eight years. He was born and reared at Sgeegleville. He is survived by his widow; two sons, I. T. and H. H. Maner of Waco; two daughters, Mrs. N. V. LaCarter of Houston, and Miss Lillie Lee Maner of Fort Worth; two brothers, D. E. Maner of Speegleville, and Dick Maner of Riesel; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Bald of Meridian and Mrs. Teenier Perry of Waco. The body will be brought into Waco, arriving here at 1 p. m. to be taken to 3221 Trice Avenue, form where it will carried to Speegleville for funeral services. Services will be held at Speegleville Baptist Church at 4 p. m., Rev. J. OR. Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Speegleville cemetery; Harvey and Cole of Fort Worth in charge. HARRINGTON, LEE SR. Funeral services for Lee Harrington Sr., 69; who died at his residence at Halls Saturday at 4 a. m., will be held Sunday at 3 p. m. at Compton's chapel. Rev. Gad J. Bryan officiating. Burial will be held in Oakwood cemetery. Surviving are his widow; a son, Lee Harrington Jr.;a daughter, Mrs. W. H. Dan of Halls. Pallbearers will be Ross Busby, Jesse Milbank's, Dan Nicholson, Roy Fields and Billie Parsons. ROTAN, FRED Funeral services for Fred Rotan,87, who died at 11:30 p. m. Friday in a hospital where he had been under treatment for 12 years, were held at 5 p. m. Saturday, with burial in Oakwood cemetery, Clark in charge. He had no known relatives. KELLEY, MRS. MARY JANE Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Kelley,46, who died at 10:45 p. m. Friday at her home in China Spring, were held at 4 p. m. Saturday at China Spring Baptist church. Rev. Mr. Lair officiating. Burial was in China Spring cemetery, Wilkinson Hatch in charge.
