Gunn, 54, of Charleston, S.C., formerly of Cameron, died Wednesday in a Charleston hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in First Methodist Church of Mexia, the Rev. J.W. Sellers and the Rev. Bill Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Mexia City Cemetery. Mr. Gunn was born in Cameron June 29, 1925. He was employed as a laboratory technician for Brown hospital in Mexia, Richie Clinic in Rockdale, and a Newton Clinic in Cameron. He was a Methodist. He was a former district commissioner for the Boy Scouts. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a Vietnam veteran, serving as a hospital master chief. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Helen Gunn of College Station; two sons, Capt. Tony Gunn of Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, S. D., and Jimmie Gunn of College Station; a daughter, Mrs. Susan Wise of Misawa AFB in Japan, his mother, Mrs. M.L. Gunn of Cameron, and two grandchildren. MRS. LOUISE M. PEER Mrs. Louise M. Peer, 56, of Farrar community near Dome died Saturday morning in a Groesbeck nursing home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in New Hope Cemetery in New Hope, the Rev, Byron Harris officiating. Mrs. Peer was born in Morgan City, La., on July 5, 1913. She was a former resident of Houston and a retired druggist for M&M Drug Co. of Houston. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Paul Peer of Houston, four brothers, C.J. Clements of New York, W.J. Clements of Houston, Claiborne Clements of the Farrar Community and Jim Clements of Anaheim, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Lowther of Houston. MRS. IRMADINE WELLS Mrs. Irmadine Wells, 76, of Hubbard died Friday morning in a San Angelo nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Eubanks Funeral Home chapel in Hubbard, the Rev. Bert Billis officiating. Burial will be at Dawson cemetery. She was a retired telephone operator. Survivors include two sons, Raymon D. Wells of DeSoto and Weldon E. Wells of San Angelo; a sister, Mrs. Alta Barron of Dawson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. MRS. JOE BARTON Mrs. Joe C. (Bernice) Barton, 64, of Gatesville, a retired licensed vocational nurse at Coryell Memorial Hospital, died Friday in a Temple hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Joe Broadway and the Rev. Ken Hall officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery. Mrs. Barton was born in Commanche County and moved to Coryell County at an early age. She married Joe C. Barton Sr. in 1934. She was a charter member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. James (Virginia) Curry of Gatesville and Miss Joy Barton of Austin; a son, Joe C. Barton Jr. of Gatesville; four sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Mattie) Martin of Branch, Ark., Mrs. V.C. (Tennie) Barton of Gatesville, Mrs. S.P. (Clara) Batley of Cash and Mrs. A.W. (Dollie) Stephens of California; two brothers, Jack Moore of Helena, Ark., and W. M. (Buddy) Moore of Gatesville; and three grandchildren.
