He was 74. Funeral Services were held at 4 pm Satuday in Wilkerson and Hatch Chapel. Rev. Aurthur Norris will officiate with burial in Waco Memorial Park. Survivors are his wife, three sons L.W. Dixon of Sweeney, H.A. Dixon and E.B. Dixon both of Houston, five daughters Mrs. A.H. Harrison f Dickinson, Mrs. J.L. Mayberry of Claremore, OK , Mrs A.J. Englishby of Deer Park, Mrs. Roy A. Green of Center Point and Mrs Buster Kress of Clute: two stepsons T.F. Gibbons of 1305 Inmon Street, and W.R. Gibbons of Houston; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one step-grand daughter, three step great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers C.C. Carpenter, E.E. Norris, L.E. Brink, W.T. Ballew, H.F.
