   The Day
   Wednesday July 20,1887
   Charles  M.  Downs  died yesterday at his residence on North 5th, from
   congestion  of  the lungs. Funeral today at the family residence. Rev.
   Dr.  S.A. King officiating, he was buried at Oakwood. Was a son of the
   late  W.W.  and  Henrietta  Downs. Age age 35, and lived in Waco since
   1855. Leaves a wife and 3 children.
