Waco Times Herald  December 31, 1945
Mrs. Emma Ender, age 77, of S. 3rd St. died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday in local 
hospital.  Funeral at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 17th and 
Clay, Waco, with Rev. John Herzog of Mart officiating.  Mrs Ender will be 
buried in Rosemound Cemetery, Waco.

Survivors: her husband, Ernest Carl Ender; 5 sons, Bernhard of Malone, Rinhold 
of Hubbard, Albert of Penelope, Ernest of Waco, Walter of Dallas; 3 daughters, 
Mrs Lena Miller of Porterville, CA, Mrs Emilie Angermann of Waco, Mrs Ida 
Scheu of Sanger; 1 sister, Mrs Henrietta I. Scheu of Hamilton.

Pallbearers: 6 grandsons, Walter J. Ender Jr., Robert, Frank & Edward Ender, 
Billie Jack Mayo, Fred H. Scheu Jr.

Mrs. Ender was born in Lee County and lived near Penelope until 29 years ago 
when she moved to S. 3rd St. in Waco.
