To one who knew her from early infancy and has seen her grow up into blushing maidenhood, to one who has seen her wedded to the man of her choice and face the stern realities of life with all the ardor of youth, this announcement causes ineffable sadness, but even to strangers this visit of the angel of death causes a sigh and a tear. When a woman is taken away from her husband and babes who is there so callous as not to pay at least the "passing tribute of a sigh." Such is the case here, and what makes it so peculiarly pathetic is that her husband is lying critically ill with typhoid fever and is not yet aware of his great loss. The deceased was born in Quihi and is a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. F. L. Boehle. She married about three years ago and at the time of her death was the mother of two children. The last sad rites were performed upon the remains Tuesday afternoon, in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends. The Herald extends its warmest sympathy to the bereaved family.
