To the Honorable District Court of said County;

Amanda McCann Glover, plaintiff, complaining of G.W. Glover, defendant, 
respectfully represents that plaintiff is an actual boni fide inhabitant of 
this State, and has for more than six months next preceding the filing of this 
suit resided in Milam County, Texas and that the residence of the defendant is 
to plaintiff unknown.

That on or about 11th day of December A.D. 1881, plaintiff and defendant 
legally married each other in Milam County, Texas.

That they lived together as man and wife until about December 17, 1882, when 
defendant left and abandoned plaintiff without cause and has never since 
returned to her.

That plaintiff and defendant have no community property.

That during the time plaintiff lived and cohabited with defendant - to wit - 
about October 14, 1882, she had one child by the defendant - to wit - Zee 
Edith Glover, a female. That plaintiff has supported and maintained said child 
since defendant abandoned her and is still able and willing to maintain her.

Wherefore, premise considered plaintiff prays that defendant be cited to 
answer this petition, that on final hearing hereof plaintiff have judgement 
that the marriage between her and defendant be dissolved, that plaintiff have 
the care, custody and possession of said child and such other and further 
relief as may be necessary in the premises and all cost of suit.
