Mr. Brinkley's body was disinterred from a previous location and graveside services held Friday, December 21st at Walker's Creek Cemetery. Mr. Brinkley was born December 21, 1941 in Odessa, TX to Rueben Brinkley and Joyce Boynton. He was an internal auditor for the Texas Railroad Commission. Mr. Brinkley was married to Rosalind Ruth Wade. He is survived by his wife, Rosalind Ruth Brinkley of Cameron; his mother Joyce Boynton Brinkley of San Saba; a son, Michael David of South Lake Tahoe, CA; a daughter, Lori Kay Avila of Cameron; a brother, David Brinkley of Houston; and 2 grandchildren.
