Graveside services for Kathryn Preece, 77, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct.
15, 2001 at the Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Tanglewood with Dr. Greg Nichols of
Lexington Christian officiating. She died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001 in the Manor
Oaks Nursing Home in Rockdale.

Mrs. Preece, a longtime resident of Tanglewood, was born Feb. 2, 1924 in Gause
to Jackson Lee Reese and Seletta Viola McMurray Reese. She and Virgil L.
Preece were married Feb. 14, 1954 in Austin. Mrs. Preece was a member of the
Lexington Christian Church. She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband Dec. 13, 1999.

Surviving are caregivers, Maria and Santos Gonzales of Rockdale and several
nieces and nephews.
