The letter references that Walker had been out in Texas and they were actively looking to buy land. They talk about legal matters and reference men who have fallen short of their obligations. Tom mentions that 9 men have been killed in the county. He inquires about their fathers health and misses Georgia. He talks about how good the land is in Milam County... $10/acre. He adds a post script at the end that "If you can read this it will be more than I can do".
