Tom Perkins was the son of Jeremiah "Tom" Perkins and the nephew of Walker P. Perkins. Jeremiah "Tom" Perkins was dead by this time and buried in the Port Sullivan Cemetery. Walker Perkins did not die until 1898. I assume the reason we have this deed is because Walker took it over. I think by 1900 Tom Perkins was in Falls county and then ended up in Grayson County.
