L. H. PRATER
Funeral services for LOGAN H. PRATER, 87, were held Monday, May 1, at the Church
of Christ with W. T.HAMILTON officiating. Burial was at Elmwood cemetery
arranged by Burgess Funeral Home. Mr. Prater was a native of Tennessee, but
resided in this county for nearly 40 years. He died Friday, April 28. Survivors
include eight sons, W. H. of Bowie, ELIJA of Lubbock, ED of Fort Worth, JIM of
Lawton, Okla., J. R. of Kansas City, O. H., LEE and LONNIE  all of California;
two daughters MRS. MATTIE NELSON of Oklahoma City and MRS. LOU MANSFIELD of
Borger, and several grandchildren and other relatives.
