Early April 1932 WILLIAM HENLEY WILIAM HENLEY, 72, died at his home eight miles north of Saint Jo Monday, March 28. Funeral services were conducted at Mountain Creek Cemetery Tuesday by Rev. SHELBY WEST, arrangements by C. H. DUNBAR. He is survived by his wife, two daughters MRS. JANIE GRENECH/GRENESH of Gainesville and MRS. MARTH HUSTON of Happy, Texas; four sons, BEN and BILL HENLEY of Mountain Creek community, LAWRENCE HENLEY of Marlow, Okla., and KIN HENLEY of Marysville, Texas; one sister MRS. FANNIE SUMMERS and one brother SAM HENLEY, both of Caddo, Oklahoma. There are 35 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were I. G. GARRISON, L. E. KRAFT of Bulcher, A. MORLAND and DAVE FOOKS of Marysville, and CLARENCE O’NEAL and OLAN KING of the local community. The following friends and relatives from a distance attended the funeral: A. W. GRENETH, MISS MARY GRENETH, Mr. and Mrs. BABE GRENETH, MILLER NUTTING and children all of Gainesville; Mr. and Mrs. JOHN SUMMERS of Caddo, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. L. O. MORGAN and son BOB of Alma, Oklahoma; MRS. L. E. KRAFT, MRS. I. G. GARRISON of Bulcher; HENRY TUGGLE and children, Mr. and Mrs. WILL SPARKMAN of Marysville; Mr. and Mrs. GEORGE DILL, MRS. JOHN MCCOLLUM and J. L. MCGREGOR of Saint Jo. Mrs. GEORGIA BAKER MRS. GEORGIA BAKER, 82, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. E. P. CROSTHWAIT four miles north of Bonita early Saturday, March 27, after a lingering illness of two years. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Bonita Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. P. S. WARREN. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, arranged by Scott Bros. She is survived by one son S. S. BAKER of Gainesville and one daughter MRS. E. P. CROSTHWAIT, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Baker was born in Georgia on Dec. 15, 1849. She was married and came to Texas in December 1883 or 1888, settling near Spanish Fort. Mr. Baker died in 1890, since then she made her home with her daughter Mrs. Crosthwait. Pallbearers were WILLIAM VANDUSEN, BUSTER BEASLEY, R. D. BEASLEY, BURNICE BUCK, T. B. MORGAN and ORAL BUCK. MRS. IDA HUSBAND MRS. IDA HUSBAND, 64, died in the Hollis sanitarium, Hollis, Oklahoma Sunday morning, March 27, after a desperate fight for her life. Her remains were brought overland to her home at Montague late Sunday. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Montague by Elder JNO. T. LAUDERDALE of Saint Jo. Then the cortege went to the Starkey cemetery where another large concourse of friends and neighbors met to pay tribute. Elder JOHN RAYMOND of Dye Mound held the service at the cemetery. Interment was arranged by Scott Bros. Mrs. Husband was born in Texas December 11, 1866, moving first to central Texas and later to Montague County where she reared a large family and has been a devout Christian. She reared 14 children and 5 grandchildren, all to manhood and womanhood. When her son LEE was elected sheriff of Montague County, she moved from her old home five miles west of Saint Jo to Montague. Just a short time ago she was taken to Hollis for an operation which caused her death. She is survived by six sons, PEARY, PERRY, LEE, BARRY, CLYDE, and ERNEST; six daughters Mrs. JEFF SLATON, MRS. WALTER KUYDENDALL, MRS. ANDREW WILLIAMS, and MISSES ULA and UNA HUSBAND. Pallbearers were SAM J. PEDIGO, W. E. MEADOR, GEORGE D. PEDIGO, P. E. REDMAN of Saint Jo; C. D. BENNETT, W. G. SIMPSON, W. E. REYNOLDS and SHEELY DRIVE of Montague.
