April 9, 1936 Personals Mr. and Mrs. DEROY KNOX of Red Hollow were guests of Mr. and Mrs. ORAN KNOX. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. MILLER and daughter of Fort Worth visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.L. MILLER. Mr. and Mrs. MARK MARSHALL and son GLENN of Wichita Falls were here. MRS. CLAUDE CUMMINS and son JACKIE visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. ALBERT PARSONS. Mrs. Parsons is ill. LEONART ETIER left to visit his sister MRS. KATIE MILLER at Hopeville, Louisiana. MRS. EDD WECKAR and MRS. O. E. EMMERT were in Sunset. D. M. MAJOR has business at Austin. RUSSELL GALLIA of Pampa attended the funeral of his grandmother MRS. W. H. CLARK. MISS CARL TURNER went to Blue Grove where her father Rev. A. C. TURNER closed a successful revival at the Methodist Church. MRS. HENRY OETTING of Fort Worth visited MISS ESTELLE MILLER. Mr. and Mrs. DAN L. MARTIN visited MRS. JO MARTIN. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. LEWIS and DAN MARTIN made a business trip to Montague. Little Miss MAE CAROLINE EALES is sick. Mr. and Mrs. HORACE DOOLEN of Mangum, Oklahoma visited Mr. and Mrs. DAN L. MARTIN. LOU ROBERSON is in the hospital at Bowie. R. N. NEILL returned to Wichita Falls after visiting his daughter MRS. JOHN WHITE. Mr. Neill and Mrs. White visited his daughter MRS. L. L. BLAKNEY at Fort Worth. Mr. and Mrs. M.A. BRYAN and three girls, LUINE, MARGUERITE, and JEANNINE visited Mr. and Mrs. R.J. KELLY at Burkburnett. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. DUNCAN and MRS. BELTON DUNCAN, all of Haskell, Texas and RMS. RAY FULTZ of Memphis, Texas spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. JOHN BLACK. MRS. RUBY RANDELL visited at Wichita Falls. Dr. and Mrs. C. J. DODSWORTH and little daughter HELEN left for Detroit to drive back a new car. They expect to be gone 10 days. MRS. W. R. POTTER, MISS INEZ RUBY, MRS. DAVID WARREN, MRS. HARRY KARLSBURG, and MRS. JOHN B. HUNT attended a district meeting of the state federation at Seymour. Mr. and Mrs. CHARLIE DAGGETT of Fort Worth visited Mr. and Mrs. PAUL BOEDEKER. JIMMY HENDERSON went home after a short stay in the Bowie hospital for a broken left arm, suffered Sunday when he fell off a horse. MRS. JENNIE F. CLARK Funeral services for MRS. JENNIE F. CLARK were held Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter MRS. A. B. GALIA. Rev. A. C. TURNER of the First Baptist Church conducted the service and DOC JAKCSON had charge of the music. Burial was at the Lindale Cemetery about four miles northeast of Bowie under the direction of J. A. BURGESS, funeral director. Mrs. Clark died Saturday morning at her home after an illness of a few days. She was born in Alabama in 1860. In 1868 she came with her parents to Texas, moving to Montague County in 1902. She was married to W. H. CLARK on Dec. 24, 1879. While young, she united with the Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, MRS. W. E. TINSLEY of Wichita Falls, MRS. JO. MAGEE / MCGEE of Cedar Hill, MRS. A. B. GALLIA and MRS. T. B. LOFLIN both of Bowie and MRS. A. R. VAUGHT of Hobart, Oklahoma., 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one sister and one brother. MRS. GEORGE W. CURLLE, Rev. and Mrs. A. C. TURNER, MRS. WAINSCOTT, Rev. WAINSCOTT, MRS. J. W. WHITMAN, MRS. W. A. PHELPS, MRS. C. E. COX, MRS.E. R. MANGUM, MRS. JOHN JACKSON, MRS. JO PRICE, and MRS. WINN of Brushy attended the monthly workers meeting at Saint Jo. MRS. PAUL DONALD was in Wichita Falls. MRS.JOHN B. HUNT, MRS. J.A. WALLENCER and MRS. S.W. HEARD left to attend Presbyterial session in Dallas. MRS. W.J. LINNEN is still suffering from a fall. DR. T. H. CLARKE returned from the Harris hospital in Fort Worth. Mr. and Mrs. O.A. GREEN and children OTIS and PAUL visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. ROBERT MURPHY. Mr. and Mrs. E.R. STROUD of Electra visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. STROUD. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. LUCAS and daughters AMMIE EVA and VIOLA and WILEY PHIPPS visited at Cundiff. Mr. and Mrs. CECIL MCNATT and daughter NORMA J. of Fort Worth visited in Bowie. Rev. THOMAS R. WILLINGHAM, pastor of the Pleasant Ridge church, was called to Newby, Texas where his brother, a postmaster, died. DAVID MIDDLETON returned home from the Bowie hospital where he had pneumonia. W. H. DENSON had an appendicitis operation at the Bowie hospital. MRS. ED JONES had a major operation at the Bowie hospital. R. L. CABLE of Saint Jo entered the Bowie hospital for treatment. TEMPLE YARBROUGH and Mr. and Mrs. M. A. BRYAN went to Wichita Falls on business.
