Forestburg News Mr. and Mrs. O. R. COOK and MRS. CASEY JONES and daughter visited at Nocona. MRS. OLLIE COLEMAN was a guest of MISS DOROTHY RAE BUCK in Saint Jo. An interesting program was presented by the first and second graders of Forestburg school April 27 under the director of MISS IRENE EMERSON and MRS. GEORGE STEGALL. Mr. and Mrs. CASEY JONES, MRS. I. M. JONES and sons BEN and LARUE attended the opening of the Gainesville Circus. BILL FORRESTER, who is a patient in the Bennet Brothers Sanitarium in Claremore, Oklahoma, is reported improving. Seniors of Forestburg school enjoyed a two days outing at Turner’s Falls in Oklahoma. They made the trip in O. B. COOK’S cattle truck with BEN JONES as driver. MRS. JOHN MOORE and MR. MILLER were chaperones. CECIL FOSTER of Denton visited his parents here. MISS THELMA JO WYLIE and ELLA JANE MCGEE, students at the Gainesville Junior College, were at home for the weekend. MRS. HORACE LITTELL and her mother MRS. PERRYMAN, who have spent the past week weeks in Mineral Wells, Dallas and Denton, returned home, accompanied by HEWELETT PERRYMAN and family. Mr. and Mrs. S. D. MARTIN of Sunset visited Mr. and Mrs. I. M. JONES. JEFF WILLIAMS, who suffered a heart attack last weekend, was taken to the Decatur hospital by ROE SLEDGE. MRS. NANCY OLDHAM of Hardy visited here. MISS HELEN JO PARSONS of Dallas visited here. CAL and GRADY HENDRIX of Dallas visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Z. HENDRIX. Dye Mound JOHNNIE MARTIN of Lawton, Oklahoma accompanied by his cousin of Comanche, Oklahoma came to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. WILL MARTIN. Mr. and Mrs. HERMAN TOMPKINS and children DOROTHY and JIMY of Lindale spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. TOM TOMPKINS and sister MRS. BELLE MCGEE. MRS. CHARLES WILLIAMS of Nocona visited her son IRB WILLIAMS and family. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. SLOAN and family visited relatives at Hardy. A nice crowd enjoyed a musical given in the home of Mr. and Mrs. WILL MARTIN Thursday. The music was furnished by TOM ALLEN, FLOYD MARTIN and HUGH MARTIN. Mr. and Mrs. D. O. NORVELL and MRS. H. O. CLOAN were in Gainesville. Little JIMMY WAYNE WILSON of Hardy spent the weekend with his uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. BUSTER SETTLES. Mr. and Mrs. D. R. HENRY EVANS and her husband. Mr. and Mrs. ALVIN MARTIN are home from visiting relatives at Comanche, Oklahoma. Birthday Party MRS. W. J. MILLER gave a party for the ninth birthday of her son RAY RAMSEY. MRS. J. H. EMBRY, MRS. C. E. CUNNINGHAM, MRS. J. H. LAUDERDALE and MRS. T. C. DAVIS drove to Muenster where Mrs. Embry was one of the judges of the Muenster Yard Beautification. 12 city yards and 5 rural yards were judged and the winner will be announced at the Muenster Flower Show May 5.
