New Jail for Montague Montague County is to have a new jail in the near future, according to county commissioner GEORGE DILL of Saint Jo. The pulpit t the Presbyterian Church will be occupied by Rev. J. T. JOHNSON of Oklahoma. MRS. QUINTINE RUSS MRS. QUINTINE RUSS, wife of R. J. RUSS, died at the family home at Forestburg last Friday night, November 26. She was 78 years of age. The funeral was held at the Perryman cemetery, Forestburg, Saturday afternoon, conducted by Elder JOHN RAYMON of Dye Mound, arrangements by C. H. DUNBAR. She is survived by her husband, three sons, ROLAND RUSS of Lubbock, LONNIE RUSS of Lindale, and A. T. RUSS of Forestburg, and two daughters, MRS. MARY LIVELY of Sunset and MRS. LILLIE REEVES of Forestburg, All children, except Lonnie Russ, attended the funeral. Pastors and Stewards Meeting Rev. EARL J. PATTON, pastor of the Methodist Church, reported a pleasant meeting of the pastors and district stewards of the Decatur District. Every pastor, except one, attended the meeting. Rev. WARREN T. WHITESIDE, presiding elder, was elected chairman and Rev. PATTON as secretary. MRS. S. F. GASS rented her home to J. E. FAULKNER and went to Thackerville, Oklahoma to make her home with her daughters MRS. EUGENE MCCRACKEN of Thackerville and MRS. ED WILSON of Oswalt, Oklahoma. TOM HOLLAND and daughter MRS.
