MRS. J. H. EMBRY, president, had charge of session assisted by MRS. E. N. DUNBAR, vice president, MRS. ED PARKS, MRS. D. M. RUSSELL and MRS. T. L. RICHEY. Saint Jo Building A new city hall and fire station is nearing completion and work on the new $44,000 high school auditorium is starting. H. D. FIELD Jr. let a contract for a duplex residence located on the new highway in the south part of town. WELDON BERRY, student at Gainesville Junior College, was cast in a college play. P.T.A. The P.T.A will meet Feb. 2. On the program: MRS. GEORGE PEDIGO, MISS KATHERINE ROGERS, MRS. D. M. RUSSELL, MRS. LUKE GRANT. ALDRIEDGE-DUPY Nuptials Announced Mr. and Mrs. R. H. ALDRIEDGE Sr. announce the marriage of their daughter MISS TOMMIE ALDRIEDGE to WILSON DUPY of Los Cruces, New Mexico. The impressive ring ceremony was performed in Alamagardo, N. M. by Rev. EARL R. KEATING, pastor of the Baptist Church on Monday, January 9. The couple left immediately after the ceremony for Old Mexico for their honeymoon. Mrs. Dupy was a popular member of the younger set here. She graduated from Saint Jo High School in 1834 and attended Oklahoma A. & M. College. She was employed by the Saint Jo Tribune and later an assistant to DR. C. W. YETTER. Last September, she moved to Sweetwater, Texas where she assisted Dr. R. O. FUGUE until her wedding. For the ceremony, she wore a teal blue costume with black accessories. For something old, she wore a lavaliere belonging to her mother. Mr. Dupy is a son of Mr. and Mrs. FRED DUPY of Billings, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Oklahoma A. & M. He taught in the college at Los Cruces for several years and is now with the Civil Service Farm Security Plan Board. They will make their home at Portales, New Mexico. Three Popular Muenster Young Couples to Wed Muenster: Marriage bans for three popular Muenster couples were published Sunday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and will be announced each Sunday for two weeks. MISS ISABELL TRUBENBACH and ARTHUR SWIRCZYNSKI are to wed soon. MISS MARGARET HESS will become the bride of ED SCHMITT Jr. and MISS CATHERINE TRUBENBACH will be married to FRANK HACKER. The first of the weddings will take place Monday, February 6 with Miss Isabell Truebenback and Mr. Swirczynsksi. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. FRANK TRUBENBACH and his parents are Mr. and Mrs. JOE SWIRCZYNSKI. They will reside at Muenster. The rites for MISS CATHERINE TRUBENBACH, daughter of Mr. and Mr. WENZIL TRUBENBACH, and Mr. HACKER will be Tuesday, February 7. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. JOE HACKER and they will make their home on a farm southwest of Myra. Thursday, February 9, has been set for the wedding day of Miss Hess and Mr. Schmitt. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. JUSTIN HESS and he is a son of Mr. and Mrs. ED SCHMITT Sr. Their home will be on a farm east of Muenster. Each ceremony will be at the Sacred Heart church in Muenster. Presbyterian Missionary Society The Presbyterian Missionary Society met at the church Monday afternoon. MRS. LUKE GRANT, president, opened the meeting. MRS. SAM PEDIGO gave the lesson. MRS. BILL CRUMP gave a talk. Attending were Mesdames MAXIE DILL CRUMP, GRANT, S. PEDIGO, G. PEDIGO, W. L. SCOTT, DRABING, and WINDER. MILFORD LAMB of Burkburnett visited here. Spencer Home Demonstration Club MRS. S. A. VAUGHN was hostess to the Spencer Home Demonstration Club. County Council of Home Demonstration Clubs More than 60 ladies attended the all day meeting of the County Council of Home Demonstration Clubs held in Montague. MISS EDITH WILSON, county agent, introduced the president of each club who in turn introduced her co-workers. MRS. I. B. WILLIAMS of Montague opened the afternoon session. MRS.
