EFFIE PEARL CROSTHWAITE MRS. EFFIE PEARL CROSTHWAITE, wife of E. P. CROSTHWAITE, died at her home five miles north of Bonita Thursday morning after a short illness. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon by Rev. G. R. SLAGLE of Nocona at the Bonita Methodist Church. Interment was in the Center Point cemetery arranged by Scott Bros. Pallbearers were BERNICE BUCK, J. C. ADMIRE, CLAY HATFIELD, OSCAR LANIER, A. A. HOLLARS and TOM POWELL. Mrs. Crosthwaite was born November 10, 1888 in Spanish Fort, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. PHILLIP BAKER. She married E. P. CROSTHWAITE in 1906 and was a member of the Methodist Church for twenty years. Survivors are her husband, two sons, E. P. Jr. of Bonita and J. M. of Olney and two daughters MRS. MATT LYONS of Nocona and MRS. ELLEN JOHNS of Bonita. PAT DONNELY, for more than 60 years a resident of Saint Jo, celebrated his 75th birthday on Friday, February 17. Despite the bad weather, several members of his family were present. His daughter, MRS. R. E. PASCHAL, served a birthday dinner to MRS. CRAIG WALFORD and sons, MRS. BEN BOSTON, Mr. and Mrs. MARTIN DONLEY of Lubbock, R. E. PASCHAL and Miss IMOGENE and JANE PASCHAL. CECIL WILBUR GANN CECIL WILBUR GANN, 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. OLIVER GANN of Saint Jo, passed away in the Bowie hospital Sunday morning, February 19. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Assembly of God Church with pastor, rev. JOHN NOTHALF officiating. Interment was at Mountain Park Cemetery arranged by Scott Bros. Cecil Gann was born in Ringling, Oklahoma. His family moved to Saint Jo some years ago. He attended the Saint Jo public school. He is survived by his mother and father, two sisters and three brothers. LOUIS TOTTY Funeral services for LOUIS TOTTY, 29, who died in Dallas Tuesday, were held at the Methodist Church in Rosston Thursday afternoon, Rev. EARL J. PATTON of the Whaley Memorial Methodist Church of Gainesville, officiated. Burial was in the Rosston cemetery with George J. Carroll and Son funeral home in charge. He is survived by his mother MRS. C. A. TOTTY, his grandfather, J. H. KELLY of Rosston with whom he made his home the last three months, and other relatives including cousins MRS. H. L. SETTLE, PRICE PENTON and MRS. ED PENTON, aunt MRS. L. T. KELLY of Gainesville. His brother WALTER TOTTY died last October. He was born at Rosston and graduated from Saint Jo high school and attended Trinity University. He was an accountant for the Goodyear Tire Co. before he became ill several months ago. He had been at San Angelo for his health before he went to the Dallas hospital where he died. Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were MRS. LUKE GRANT, MRS. FRED MEADOR, Mr. and Mr. JOHN TUCKER and children, MISS ISLE BELLAH, Mr. and Mrs. MAXIE DILL, MRS. GERTRUDE MTICHELL, HERSHEL BOYD all of Saint Jo, LOUIS HOLLAND of Montague, MRS. MAUD MOORE and MISS EDITH BELLAH of Denton. JACKIE LYNN ZAHN JACKIE LYNN ZAHN, young son of MRS. L. R. ZAHN, died. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church at Tage Feb. 17 by Elder JOHN RAYMOND. He is survived by MRS. DESSIE ZAHN, one sister and two brothers.
