(Special) -- Services for Mrs. Alice Bida Griffin, 89, who died Wednesday at a nursing home in Nocona, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday from the First Methodist Church here. Rev. Edwin Sooter, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Mountain Park Cemetery under direction of Daugherty Funeral Home of Nocona. Born Oct. 3, 1874 in Tennessee, Mrs. Griffin married D. D. Griffin July 3, 1902 at Tioga, Tex. They came to Saint Jo in 1915. Griffin preceded her in death in 1936. Survivors include a son, Cecil Griffin of Crane, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Rose of Grandfalls, Tex., Mrs. Ben Parks of Kermit, Tex., Mrs. Leon Cowart of Irving and Mrs. Lena Mae Boyd of Saint Jo; and two sisters.
