Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Ann McNabb 96 who died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Tom Goodpasteru January 24 were held at the Baptist Church here yesterday with Rev J F Blackburn Pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Pallbearers were Carl Gray, Sim Yancey, Bill Baker , John Hill, Bob Bourland and Frank Skillman. Interment was made in the Saint Jo Cemetery under the direction of the Daugherty Funeral Home. Eliza Ann Chapman was born October 30, 1843 in Rone County Tennessee. She came to Texas with her parents in 1856 and settled in the Parker County. Her father was killed in an Indian raid here. At the beginning of the Civil War she married James Madison McNabb. Mr. McNabb served throughout the Civil War. After the war they moved Saint Jo where they lived for 49 years. After Mr. McNabb's death in 1925 Mrs. McNabb has made her home with her daughter Mrs Tom Goodpasture. Mrs. McNabb suffered injuries in a fall last October that was a result of her death.
