He was born August 12, 1873 at Atlanta, Georgia. He was married to Mary Ann Gentry in Georgia November 19, 1899. They caame to western Oklahoma from Georgia in 1915 and settled in the Grimes and Reydon community and made his home there since that time. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Ann Kelley of the home address; seven daughters, Mrs. J.A. Keith of Grimes, Mrs. B.E. Clift of Reydon, Mrs. Fred Harmon of Sweetwater, Mrs. Arthur Barnes, Mrs. Huston McEntire and Mrs Buck Couch, all of Dumas, Texas, and Mrs. Jack Childers of El Centro, California; three sons, Oad Kelley of Reydon, Bud Kelley of Arnett, and Gene Kelley of Masterson, Texas, 24 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. One brother, R.A. Kelley of Bovina, Texas, one half-brother Charley Kelley of Elijah, Georgia, one daughter, aone sister and one half-brother preceded him in death. C.L. Carpenter officiated at the service. Burial was in the Dempsey cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Pall bearers were N.R. Webster, Carl Long, Ivan Markley, Bill Clift, Elzie McEntire and Roy Fallis Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
