Mrs. J. P. Barker Dies At Cason; Leaves 4 Children
June 24, 1938

Mrs. J. P. Barker, 44, died at her home in Cason Friday June 24.

Mrs. Barker was born Lillie Iona Folks on January 16, 1894. She was married to
Tillman Hilton in 1918. Two children, Miss Tillman Hilton and Therman Hilton,
were born to them. In May, 1924, she married Mr. Barker, and two children
blessed this union. Douglas and Edward Barker.

Mrs. Barker was a devout and faithful member of the Baptist Church, which she
joined in early girlhood.

Funeral services were held in Cason Baptist Church Saturday at 3:00 o'clock,
with Rev. J. W. Reeder, pastor, in charge. He was assisted by Rev. H. F.
Crews, Nazarene preacher of Pittsburg. The body was interred to the Blevins
Cemetery.

Deceased leaves her husband and four children, three stepchildren, three
brothers and three sisters.
