Cason Lady Passes Away
February 7, 1931

Mrs. Virgil Barnard, aged about 25 years, died at her home in Cason last
Saturday morning at 4 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. Pneumonia,
together with other complications was the cause of her death.

Mrs. Barnard was born and reared in the Cason community and has many friends
who will regret to learn of her death.

She is survived by her husband and two children, one of whom is an infant born
last Friday. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Edwards,
of Cason and several brothers and sisters.

The body was laid to rest Sunday in the Blevins cemetery, one mile north of
Cason.
