(Rawleigh) DePrang, aged 69 years, who had resided in and near Daingerfield the greater part of his life, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. W. Bradley, at Bossier City, La., last Sunday night at 10:30 o'clock, after suffering for the past year or more with heart trouble and high blood pressure. Mr. DePrang seemed to be doing well as usual a day or two before he died and was able to be up and about only a short time before he passed away. Deceased was in the sawmill business near Daingerfield during most of his life and many friends through his jovial disposition and honest dealings with the public. At the time of his death he resided 10 miles southeast of Daingerfield, but had been in Louisiana for some time with his children in hopes of improving his health. Besides his wife, deceased is survived by 9 children - 6 boys and 3 girls - as follows: Montie & M. Z. DePrang, of Bossier City, La,; O. L. and J. N. DePrang of Novice, Texas; W. H. DePrang of Leigh, Texas; W. D. DePrang of Overton, Texas; Mrs. H. W. Bradley of Bossier City, La.; and Miss Bevie DePrang and Mrs. R. L. Baits of Novice, Texas. Also a sister, who resides in Cason. The body was shipped to Cason Tuesday where it was laid to rest in the Blevins cemetery, a mile north of that city. Funeral services were conducted by Rev.............. ---
