Cason Citizen Passes Away January 17, 1929

The death of J. M. Honeycutt, for many years a prominent citizen of Cason,
occurred at the family home in that city on Thursday night of the past week.

Mr. Honeycutt was a retired Methodist minister for many years was pastor of
the church in Cason. He had been in failing health for some time and his death
was not altogether unexpected. Deceased was 69 years old at the time of his
death.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Cason Friday afternoon,
with burial at the cemetery, one mile north of that city.
