Tuck ************************************************************************ Mrs. Marcilla Hunter Knighten, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. T. J. Mosley, was born in Wilcox County, Alabama, October 25, 1840, and at some later date moved with the family to Comanche County, where she grew to womanhood and was married to Mr. J. E. Knighten, February 25, 1858. To this union there were eleven children born, five of whom are still living. She professed a hope in Christ Jesus and joined the church in October 1866, and was baptized by her dear husband, Elder J. E. Knighten. She departed this life at her home in Omaha, Morris County, Texas, April 8, 1913, after a protracted siege of sickness and suffering. Written by J. H. Daniel (The Advocate of True, June 1, 1913)
