Russell Following a very brief illness, Mrs. D. A. Russell Sr. 66, passed away at her home in Cason last Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Russell was stricken with Cerebral hemorrhage three days before her death. Funeral services at the Methodist church in Cason Thursday afternoon were conducted by Rev. Elwyn B Chaney, Methodist paston, assisted by Rev J. H. Malone of Mt. Pleasant, and Rev J L McAdams of Longview, Burial was made in the Blevins Cemetery. Carrie Partridge Russell, born near Pittsburg February 4, 1868, was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J. T. Partridge. On July 4, 1895, she was married to D. A. Russell, who died January 26, 1918. Two children also preceded Mrs. Russell in death, leaving one sone D. A. Russell Jr., of Cason, to survive her. She also leaves two step-sons, Thomas A. & James L Russell both of Cason. The deceased had been a consecrated member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for many years. Others who survive are two sisters, Mrs. Annie Smith, of Cason, and Mrs. Sallie Jordan of Recklaw; two brothers, John Partridge, of Omaha, and Nolan Partridge, of Rusk
