Tidwell, prominent merchant at Cason for the past 30 years or more, occurred at his home in that city last Monday. Mr. Tidwell was ill only a few days and his death was caused by kidney trouble, brought about it is said by influenza. Deceased was about 65 years old and was prominent in Cason business circles for many years. He was a member of the Baptist church and had been a long time. Surviving Mr. Tidwell are his wife and several children, also a large circle of other relatives. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Cason Tuesday afternoon after which the body was laid to rest in the cemetery, north of that city. Rev. Shaddix Baptist minister of Hughes Springs, conducted the services, assisted by Rev. Moon of Cason.
