Mrs. Homer Welch Dies; Services At Bradfield Chapel - March 1938

Mrs. Homer Welch, died at her home in the Bradfield Chapel community at 11:00
o'clock Saturday. Mrs. Welch, who was ill only two days, was 39 years old.

She was Miss Emma Wallace before her marriage in 1915.

Funeral services were held at Bradfield Chapel Church at 2:00 o'clock Sunday
afternoon. Rev. B. L. Hatch, pastor of the church, and Rev. Johnnie Campbell,
Baptist pastor at Rocky Branch, conducted the services. Burial followed in the
cemetery at Bradfield Chapel.

Mrs. Welch is survived by her husband; two sons, Homer Elvin and Elton; two
daughters, Miss Doris Welch and Mrs. Garnet Harvey; three sisters, Mrs. Herman
Bockman, Mrs. D. J. McKinney of Hughes Springs and Mrs. Royette Black of
Neches; four brothers, Dod Wallace of Neches, Jack, Will and Jim Wallace of
Hughes Springs.
