FRIENDSHIP CEMETERY (African-American), Nacogdoches County, Texas, was recorded and photographed on

March 15 by Bob Britnell (misterbob@suddenlink.net).  Digital photographs were taken of all headstones, and 
will beprovided free to anyone who asks; contact Bob by e-mail.  We will respond to requests for research or 
photographs in any cemetery in this 4-county area, as a courtesy to other researchers.

DIRECTIONS:  In Nacogdoches, go north on Loop 224/US 59 to FM 343 (Industrial Blvd), and turn left (west). 

 The cemetery is on the left, 13 miles out on this road. This cemetery is actually two cemeteries, separated 
by a chain-link fence.  The larger Caucasian cemetery is at the end of the driveway through the gate under he
 sign; the African-American cemetery is through the gates closer to the highway.  The two cemeteries are 
transcribed separately.

data on military service. (Information is recorded here exactly as it appears on the headstone, even if it is
 obviously incorrect or misspelled; information in parentheses was added by this researcher) "FHM" indicates
