LINDA KAY HUNT

NACOGDOCHES - Linda Kay Hunt, 63, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev.
Robert Kobler officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Garrison Funeral Home of Garrison.

Ms. Hunt graduated from Amarillo High School and received her associate of
arts in English from Amarillo College, her B.A. in English from UTEP in El
Paso and her M.A. in English from Oklahoma State University. She was an
English professor at OSU, served 27 years at Pratt Community College in Pratt,
Kan., and was recognized in "Who's Who among America's Teachers."

Survivors include her mother, Margarete Hunt of Nacogdoches; and a brother,
Galen Hunt of Broaddus.

The family suggests memorials be to Pratt Community College supporting
scholarships for young women.
