EDNA B. JOHNSON

NACOGDOCHES - Services for Edna B. Johnson, 69, of La Porte, are scheduled for 2
p.m, Tuesday at Cason Monk Metcalf Funeral Homes's Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches
with Revs. Ronald Trotter and Reagan Sewell.

Burial will be in Simpson Campground Cemetery

Mrs. Johnson died Saturday at her residence

She was born May 15, 1925 in Nacogdoches to John David & Luna Wilburn Sowell. She
was a clerk in a grocery store and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her
husband, John Wesley Johnson. in 1967

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ida Fischer and Mrs. Linda Morris, both of La
Porte; mother Mrs. Luna Sowell, Woden; three brothers, David Eugene Sowell, Chireno,
James Edward Sowell and John Junior Sowell, both of Woden; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie
Golf and Mrs. Lydia Mae Wallace, both of Chireno, Mrs. Bonnie Sue Jacobs, Woden, and
Mrs Betty Jo Lummus, Nacogdoches; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren

Pallbearers include John Paul Morris, John M. Wallace, John Russell Wallace, Dean
Lummus, David Mark Sowell and Gary Don Williams
