Will dated the 21st of June 1874 -- Died 15th of July 1874 To wife Mary W. Barnes: 100 acre homestead 12 miles north of Nacogdoches with all stock, farming tools, household and kitchen furniture, plus $75.00 interest due estate by JAMES L. TRAWICK of Dale City, Alabama, during her lifetime. To sons: ABSOLOM and Warren Barnes: The two horses they claim and after their mother's death equal shares in residue of estate. To daughter Elizabeth: 2 cows and calves and an equal share in residue of property in Nacogdoches County. To Grandson: COLUMBUS BERRYHILL (minor) equal share in estate in Nacogdoches County. To son: Colman Barnes and to daughter Nancy Patterson, both living in Dale County, Alabama; 360 acres of land in Dale County, Alabama. Executors: Mary C. [unreadable] Barnes and R. Trawick.
