The State of Texas
To the Sheriff or any Constable of Navarro County, Greeting:
You are hereby commanded to summon W.L. McCord, Henry W. McCord & R. Hightower,

to appear before the Honorable County Court of Dallas County, Txeas at a regular
term thereof to be held first Monday Jan 1897 then and there to answer the
petition:

Keating Implement & Machine Company, a private Corporation - Plaintiff.

filed in said court on the 20th day of November, 1896 against the said W.L.
McCord, and Henry W. McCord lately doing business under the firm name of W.L.
McCord & Son, and R. Hightower - Defendants

for suite said suit being numbered 9982 the nature of which demand is as follows:

Suit to recover amount due on a certain promissory note executed by defendants
on the 8th day of Oct 1895, in the principal sum of $300 due and payable to the
order of the City National Bank of Dallas on Oct 1, 1896, with interest after
date at 10% per annum and providing for 10% Attorneys feeds.

Plaintiff is now the legal owner and holder of said note, and prays judgment for
its debt, interest attorney fees, costs of suit, etc.

and you will deliver to the said W.L. McCord, Henry W. McCord, and R. Hightower,
each in person.
