Powell Survey Written: 1886 Navarro County Joseph H. Powell Survey $300 45 acres 1 Jan 1886 Know all men by these presents: That We S.R. Coffey and wife, L.E. Coffey formerly L.E. Gray, Navarro in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred dollars to us in had baid by Tom Sewell, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. That tract or parcel of land lying and situated in Navarro County and a part of a survey of 120 acres granted to Joseph H. Powell and in bounded as following. Beginning at the SE corner of said survey. Thence Ne 30 W 600 vars to the SW corner of the Hines survey Thence 60 W 423 Vars a stake. Thence S30 E 600 vars to a stake in the south line of said Powell survey. Thence N60 E with said line 423 vars to the beginning containing forty five acres of land. Release - quit claim. Witness our hands at Corsicana, the 1st day of January AD 1886. Mrs. L.E. Coffey examined privately by S.H. Kerr, Clerk of County Court Dec 1, 1886.
