Dickson of the county of Navarro and state of Texas sold to Mrs. Thula Hightower of Navarro County. Being a part of the J.L. French survey and situated in the town of Frost and described by field notes as follows viz: Beginning in the North line of the J.L French 640 acres survey at the NE corner of 61 1/2 acres for T.J. Sheppard Thence 360 W 87 vrs Thence 830 E 90 vrs Thence N60 E 87 vrs. Thence N30 W 90 vrs to beginning containing One and 4/10 acre. Volume 77 pg 378. Taking in part payment of said land Two promissory notes executed by Thula Hightower dated December 14 1895 payable to J.J. Dickson due 1st day of November & December 1895 in the sum of Two hundred Dollars, the vendor's lien being retained in the said deed to secure the full payment of said note and whereas said not have been paid in full. Now, in consideration of said payment I do hereby release the vendor's lien on the said land. Given under my hand at Frost, Texas this the 6 day of June 1896. J.J.
