Navarro Co

Know all men by these presents that I, Susan Eliot, surviving widow of J.M.
Eliot deceased of Navarro Co in consideration of the sum of 25 dollars to me
paid  by T. Sears and his three promissory notes of even date herewith one for
the sum of $34 dollars due Dec 1st, 1881, one for $99 due Nov 15 1882, one for
$99 due Nov 15 1883 all bearing interest at 10% per annum to secure which the
vendors lien is hereby expressly retained.

have granted, sold, and conveyed unto the said T. Sears of Navarro County all
that certain tract of land being a part of the W.R. Bowen survey of 232 1/2
acres in Navarro County about 20 miles west of Corsicana.

Beginning at the N.E. Corner of said survey in F. Grimes West line.
Thence S30 E with said line to the N.E. Corner of a tract deeded by me to C.L.
Eliot.

Thence S 60 W with said Eliot's N. line 970 vrs to his NW corner in Speeds East
line

Thence N30 @ with said Speed's line to the NW Croner of this Bowen Survey.
Thence N60 E with North line of said Bowen 970 vrs to the beginning containing
86 acres of land more or less.

Witness my hand at Corsicana this 25th day of Oct A.D. 1881.

Timothy Sears is son of H.J. and Rebecca J. Sears of Navarro County.

The witnesses to this deed, Jno Lee, sold 65 acres from this same Bowen survey
to Rolley Hightower May 9, 1881.
