GRIMES AND E.S. GRIMES of the State of Texas and county of Coryell for and in consideration of the natural love and affection we have for our daughter, NANCY E. HALL have this day bargained, sold, aliened and conveyed all the rights title and interest we have in or any manner pertaining to a certain tract or parcel of land situated in State of Texas and County first about fifteen miles South West of the Town of Corsicana on the head waters of POST OAK CREEK, and on our own headright of 14 15/100 labors granted to us by the State of Texas on the 4th day of August A.D. 1846 and is bounded as follows. Beginning from the SOUTHWEST corner of a survey of 640 ACRES granted to J.M. PRICE Thence S60 W 1112 vrs to a stake in prairie on WEST boundary line of said GRIMES Survey Thence NORTH 30 W with said line 773 vrs to stake Thence S 30 E with said line 773 vr to the place of beginning Containing in all 152 ACRES more or less. To have and to hold the above described tract or parcel of land ...we have in the foregoing described tract or parcel of land in testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hand and affixed our scrawl for seal this 31st day of August A.D. 1875. He was killed by a horse soon after they married and died in Conroe, Montgomery Co. 2)March 27 1870 she married Aralza Wyatt Hall.
