GRIMES AND E.S. GRIMES of the State of Texas and county of Coryell for and in consideration of the natural love and affection we have for our daughter, SARAH C. BEAN we have this day bargained, sold, aliened and conveyed all the rights title and interest we have in or any manner pertaining to a certain tract or parcel of land situated in State of Texas and County first about 20 miles South West of the Town of Corsicana on the head waters of POST OAK CREEK, and on our own headright of 14 15/100 labors granted to us by the State of Texas on the 4th day of August A.D. 1846 and is bounded as follows. Beginning at a stake from which a Post Oak 7 in in dai brs N 181/2 E 5 7/10 vrs another 6 in dia brs Thence S 80 E 9 7/10 varas NW corner of a survey for PRUITT the same being the beginning of the land patented to FREDERICK GRIMES by the State of Texas on the 4th day of August A.D. 1846 Thence NORTH 30 W 1071 vrs to tract deeded to NANCY E. HALL Thence n60 E 1071 varas to a stake from which a Post Oak 15 in dia brs N76 E 17 varas another 20 in dia brs N64 W35 vrs SW corner of S. Butrick Thence S60 W838 vars to the place of beginning Containing in all 161 9/10 ACRES more or less. To have and to hold the above described tract or parcel of land ...we have in the foregoing described tract or parcel of land in testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hand and affixed our scrawl for seal this 26th day of October A.D. 1883.
