GRIMES AND E.S. GRIMES of the State of Texas and county of Coryell for and in consideration of the natural love and affection we have for our daughter,E.V. ACREE we have this day bargained, sold, aliened and conveyed all the rights title and interest we have in or any manner pertaining to a certain tract or parcel of land situated in State of Texas and County first about 15 miles South West of the Town of Corsicana on the head waters of POST OAK CREEK, and on our own headright of 14 15/100 labors granted to us by the State of Texas on the 4th day of August A.D. 1846 and is bounded as follows. Beginning NECorner of Survey of 100 acres made for Sarah C. BEAN. Thence S 60 W 1112 varas to Stake in the West line of Said GRIMES Survey a stake from which a Mesquite bears N68E 30 varas. Thence N30W 773 vrs to stake from which a Mesquite 8 in in dai brs S83E 18 varas. Thence N60 E 1112 varas to a stake from which a Hackberry bears N70E 6 varas a Thence S30 E 773 varas to the place of beginning Containing in all 152 ACRES more or less. To have and to hold the above described tract or parcel of land ...we have in the foregoing described tract or parcel of land in testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hand and affixed our scrawl for seal this 31st day of August A.D. 1875 F.M. & E.S. appear separately before H.M.
